I’ve known love for the very first time

I’ve know a love so rich and deep that reality all too often seems a dream

My soul has grown so close to another;

It seems they are in fact a mere extension of myself

I’ve basked in every emotion and sensation my heart did feel

I’ve dreamt of my love every night until it lulled me to sleep

I’ve looked upon my fears and insecurities and I have overcome them

I’ve heard the singing of my very own heart

And I have seen my once muddy and opaque view of the world turn crystal clear

I’ve known love

A love so deep and true that it is in fact one of a kind

My soul has grown so close that I was hers and she was mine and we were one
