What a beautiful night
Accented by the starlit sky
But that beauty cannot begin to compare
To the goddess beset now in my eye
Her very essence inspires me
To a degree which even heaven cannot deny
But what would I ever do to deserve such a love?
Or why should I even try?
I wish to speak to her
But I do not dare
I shall never have the courage
To speak to a lady quite so fair
Held in the highest regard
And placed upon the pedestal of my heart
I only wish my fleeting courage
Was not quite so quick to dart
For I know if I could only express just the way I feel
There is the chance she could be mine
Therefore making the remainder of my life
For all eternity quite divine
If I could only make her mine
