2 seconds of Peace, Gives me 5 seconds of Love

2 seconds of peace is all i want

Just to know everything is okay

To know when i wake up tomorrow

It'll all be like it use to

3 seconds of Happiness is all i want to feel

To smile at something great

To know when i smile

Someone has fallen in love with it

4 seconds of courage is what i need

To face my fears

To know that when its done

Its done

5 seconds of Love is all i want to know

To feel when someones smile

To know someone cares

To know with just 2 seconds of peace

I get my 5 seconds of Love

There is great strength & determination in this piece. It is obviously written by someone who knows exactly what they want.

Well said.

Mol,
When I read your poems, I see two things you desire the most...1)love and 2)happiness. Its interesting how those go hand in hand and when you don't have one you don't have both.

Your poems are filled with longing for love, crying out for happiness, and revealing the hurts and "diss"appointments in life. Baby, those will always be part of your life. How you deal with them is what will make it or break it. Writing poems might help to express what you feel but I sense that you are so repressed that you haven't quite learned how to constructively express...I mean communicate your feelings to those who are actually the source of what you are feeling. Take me for example...I know I have hurt you but have you expressed it to me??? NEVER!!! Try actually communicating your thoughts and feelings to the people who have affected you. You will find great release in it. It actually feels good to unleash those feelings and forget how you think the person will react.

Remember we are all human. Oh, and so far none of us are perfect. We will all end up hurting someone with what we say or do, no matter how hard we try not to.

Keep writing,
Geekman
