Living the Moment
The end of one's vibrations
Made audible
Made visible
Make tactile
For a Stradivarius
Or a Steinway
Or a Pavarotti high G
Knows not any end
Only distance
Yet
As humans
We easily forget last utterances
The cry of a baby's discomfort
The pain of a homeless wail
The sob of a relationship ended
Somewhere however
The vibrations continue
Attaching themselves
To awaiting polarized matter
The cosmos knowing there remains the next creation
And the next
And the next
When
Sound's resonance
With light's ever-present heat
Slaps
Punches
Hugs
Touches
There continues the listening
The feeling of passionate whispers
The longevity of gentle caresses
To stop
To step out
Into midnight's silence
Is to hear
To know
To trust
To live the moment…
Until the next twinkling of time
