I went to sleep last night

Stuck on dry land

Most I had to fight
I woke up many times
My eyes all full of tears
My heart jumping fiercely
My body full of fears
Most dreams I didn’t understand
Didn’t know where we were
When I tried to focus
My eyes stayed a blur
Constantly I reach for you
Constantly I cry out
Constantly I yearn for you
Truth without a doubt
My cries will never stop
My tears will always stream
But each and every single night
I will have you in a dream…
