the way you scratch and claw

always searching for an excuse

to fall down on the floor



You tried to beat me down

and you tried to keep me at your level

Tried to tell me I was nothing

but I never did believe you

Go a lifetime.

with some loser by their side

someone who does nothing

but be little

and critisize

well that isn't me
