my heart, my heart wore out
Like the soul of an old shoe that has walked
too many miles,
Like the mermaids tail, which swam too far,
Until she drown
In her own sea of tears.
my trust, my trust disappeared
Like a fine burn circle,
Going through the paper I bought at the book fare
Until there was no trace,
But the mark of the seare.
Why Is It?
That when I think of mermaid's tails, I think of whale tails.
Mermaids are half baluga
or half orca, did you know?
Or half cat fish or half manatee
or seal. Mermaids look half
human, like centaurs
and griffons are half of some
half or other. But mermaid's
tails are perfect for a day
beneath the waves, among
the corals and lobster.
