I pity the man who loves me
With all his heart
When I can only love with half a heart
And half a mind
And he will look me in the eye
But my eyes are in the back of my head
Always watching over my shoulder
Looking out for the next break
And fake smiles and fake orgasms
And fake tears
Are all he will recieve from me
Arguments where I run out of the house
And don't come back for days
Thanks to previous lessons learnt
I pity the man who makes love to me
And asks me for my number
With every single intention of calling
When I give him false digits
So I don't have to cope with the pain
Cause anyway-
I asume I just won't hear from him again
I pity the man who listens when I speak
And only gets lies from me
And long tales
Because I deem him unworthy of hearing
About my real life,
Too used to guys, abusing the truth
So instead I choose to lie.
I pity the man who wants to keep me,
So used to the ones who used me -
Took me on a joy ride,
Like a stolen car
Left me by the road side.
...They know just who they are.
Empowerment Is A Big Word
I think "Relationship Building" should be a requirement in highschool. Like English proficiency, it should be mandatory. Also how to buy a car and a house and "What To Do Once You're Married" . (as long as I'm dreaming.)
