Living out the dream

Goin' for the gold

Pullin' at the seam

grabbin' a firm hold



of the One who pulled me through

the One who makes all things new



Jesus came, He paved the way

Jesus died, He saved the day

Call on Him; Call His name

He cures the sick, and heals the lame



My dream is to live in Peace

My gold is the love of Christ

The seam is the cloak that Jesus wore

Hanging on to my Lord, who paid the price



He washed away my sins

He redeemed my soul

Changes me from within

He purifies me whole



Christ hung on a cross to save me from death

and thought of me 'til His very last breath.
