The night before he beat her like
stone. No one knew she was heartbroken
little fragments of pain..
Head hugged in tear drenched pillows...
Lost.confused & soar....
she slept under hidden bruises.
Awakened through the bittersweet scent
of bleeding rose petals..
She lifted her hand too smell each one
Leading too where he stood...
The lovely couple everyone thought they
was....Behind the fake koolaid grin & his
millions. He withheld skeletons in his closet..
A insecure man...
In the mirror she stand looking at the
reflection of her wounded soul....
She knew he was dangerous & tried too
escape.He threatened too drop her..
Hundreds of feet she screamed for her
release...He agreed as long as she didn't
leave him & remain his bleeding
rose petals....
Reminds me of those beating scenes in Madea's Family Reunion movie. It's scary to know that this goes on everyday around the world.

Wow! This was inspired by the Madea's Family Reunion movie! I like the story behind these words, along with the visual descriptive displays of imagery. Good job girl and may GOD continue to bless you forever! Peace!
PS > I told you I was a huge fan of you!
I love this poem. Even though it didn't happen to you, it helps us to see how horrible any kind of abuse is and cannot be tolerated.
I'm glad this didn't happen to you!!
Great Write!
