One moment passed between you,

and everything seems to fade

to the moments long ago

the seconds all so clear

entwined under the covers

and lost in throws of passion

and then the parting and the pain

and name calling.



I watch from the sidelines

knowing deep down

exactly what is to happen

but be still and quiet

as you say hello

long time, no see

and think oh god,

round two begins.
