To write poems of nothing
not an easy task undertaken...
possibly harder then poems of something
and nearly impossible
when comparing to classics,
To stare at your curser,
the easiest way
watch it blinking
blink,blink,mocking
and driving home
the fact that
your writers blocks
hit you again.
It can't be forced
with errant typing
or laid aside
to rust with no practice
like a bike thats outgrown.
So you look to objects
laid around you
to compose the masterpiece
that is
your pink lampshade
or baseball caps
thought long forgotten.
But in the process
what you really write
is the story of a moment
you'll one day look at
as the better times
when writers block
was your one and only worry.
And in remembrance of these moments
as the memories arise
it's impossible to
not write but of something.
And the quest continues...
