You captivate me

and I suppose it could be real

it's so illogical

I can't deny the way I feel.



Do you expect from me

the things that I can never give

it just seems so amazing

I finally really want to live.



What can I ask of you

that you will never freely tell

i'm sure you just may notice

i've long since left my private hell.



But can I ask of you

i'm only trying to be fair

one simple question

can you promise you'll be there.
