for all the things you put her through
she sat in sorrow in a chair
pretended she was never there
to many tears still left to cry
to many yearnings left to die.
Miss cold and bitter never thought
she'd use the lessons she was taught
bitterness goes a long way
save herself from other days
to many thoughts still plauge her head
to many reasons cause her dread.
Miss cold and bitter let you go
she saw the things you'll never know
she loved you once and held nought back
when she fell down you held the track
to many times you never cared
to many when you just weren't fair.
Miss cold and bitter tried to keep
from you the reasons she would weep
she loved you far to much to say
she wished you never went away
to many lessons fall to dust
to many when her tears do rust.
Miss cold and bitter hates you now
she loves you still but won't allow
the things that hurt her once before
to leave her senseless anymore
to many days she had to see
to many she could never flee.
