Today was not unlike the rest

a five walled room and window

plasteredwalls painted yellow

bed and bedspread coloured green.

I wish these walls were padded

that my straight-jacket was purple

funny, I don't have a straight-jacket

and I guess purple would be a bit ironic.

Brassy doorknobs on white-painted doors,

how imaginative,

a beige carpet on the floor

living wild I suppose,

I wish it were pink

to match my pink lampshade

beside my bed.

The ceiling could be black

because it would look good

and my baseball cap

wouldn't look so lonely

like it does right now.

The window is cole

or the air coming in is,

Was that a pink bunny!!!?!

I'd like my straight-jacket now please.
