Part 5:The Calm

You dispising gaze mocks me

as you wait these seconds long

retaliations and decieving

your expectations are great for this.

Explainations far to late to come

in this silence, on this day

I could try to tell you this

but your response would be the same.

Your face doeshold an empty gaze

no emotions to show or feel

emptiness stands all around us

shallow breathing disappeares in it's depths.

Eternal shadows listen

wait for an outbreak, for more lies

for bloodstained tears to flow once more

to replenish it's thirst.

We wait for a broken silence

only to be made by us

a fragile peace to be broken

be words that must be said.

I appriciate this writting, because it reminds me of what happened in the fight that sparked the writing of my first series. I wonder if major fights always have a "calm" or a "tranquil" like this? Anyway, good stuff, last to stanzas ecspecialy.
