Take me as I am

'cause I really do like you

I like the way you smile

all the funny things you do.

The way you always rub my back

as if I just may break

the way you make me want to laugh

with every move you make.

How you do seem so honest

seem to always speak your mind

how i can look into your eyes

not fear what they might hide.

The way you do not want to hurt me

from the feelings you don't know

but you want to be a friend

as we see that it can grow.

I am happy to have you here

if only as a friend

that will be enough for me

as long as it never ends.
