Poem about Judy the Obsessive-Compulsive Gopher.

I once knew a gopher named Judy

grasseed her drug of choice

struggling across the road

obsessive-compulsive

without a voice.

The struggle is unbearable

has claimed all those she loves

her friend's rabbit and toad

do watch from up above.

She's dodging the cars

to reach her great drug

that lies straight across

but she doesn't look smug.

Her fear only surpassed

by her need for the seed

the only real thing

that makes her keep this deed.

Just narrowly missed

by a death from a tire

just inches away

from her greatest desire.

Now she finally has

the thing she feels she most lacks

while deep down she does wonder

how she'll ever get back.

::sniffle:: That was beautiful Nikki... Hehe. You had so many poems I just couldn't decide. So I looked at the ones with really long names, the new ones, and anything else that caught my attention.
