Why is there so much pain

within this world I see today

don't see why all these people do

the things that make them pay.

Educations next to gone

nobody really cares

they all just want to reach the top

don't care how they get there.

We idolize those who are fake

wish we were just like them

people say we will succeed

can't help but wonder when.

We don't know what's for our own good

and what we just do want

material wealth above all

which we all seem to flaunt.

Will we never really see

that it's us we're hurting here

and if this doesn't change

we will have so much more to fear.
