Please don't tell me that you'll stay

that you'll always be there

don't say that you won't dump me off

don't promise that you'll always care.

Please don't make me promises

that you know won't be true

you know the days i've seen

you've seem what i've been through.

Don't say you'll be there and not show up

just expect me to forgive

because a relationship without you there

is not one that I can live.

Just understand that I can't have

a life thats all a lie

so if I know that you won't stay

why should I waste my time.

I need to know that you'll be there

through the good times and the bad

I can't live in this life of lies

if that was all we ever had.
