It's been so longsince i've seen your face,

I miss the love in your embrace.

When you'd brush my hair back behind my ear,

when you'd shelter me from all my fears.

I could trust you with my very life,

and you'd help me through my pain and strife.

How did things change so much so soon,

it would have been one year in June.

Don't even act the best of friends,

i'd hoped that this would never end.

You pass me by without a word,

you've changed alot or so i've heard.

Not like i'd know, don't know you now,

were a love, a tease, then gone somehow.

But thats okay, I don't want you,

just the love that I once knew.
