What is a friend
they are there til the end
they will never break or bend,
A friend is always there for you
they always run to your side
and they will always love you,
They never give up
they always ask "what's up?"
they are there for everyone
and for those who have no one.
"What is a friend they are
"What is a friend
they are there til the end
they will never break or bend..."
I like this. I know I talk about the timing of words a lot, but thats such an important element to poetry! I like this first stanza because its timing:
What is a friend (4 syllables)
they are there til the end (6 syllables)
they will never break or bend, (7 syllables)
It almost feels like a song or maybe a limerick... in addition, it rhymes! so props :)
You should totally make the other lines fit this timing (4-6-7) as well!
