I live in a nice house,

yet I want something more,

or should I say,

I really want something less!

I have all I could ever want as far as "things" go

and yet, I want none of it!

All I want to do is write, paint,

sleep and dream,

Take long baths by candle light and read good books.

And lick an occasional ice cream.

I want to eat simple foods in good ccompany

And make a living with my art.

I just want to be happy, 

Be appreciated by doing my part.

I want to host workshops on the house boat

And live most simply. 

Im not one for fancy things, make up or new clothes.

I just want mascara and polish for my toes. 

I treat myself to Hazelnut coffee and African nectar tea.

doesn't take too much to make me happy.

I hate teaching art to LARGE groups of people,

Grown or small.

I used to love Valentine's Day

and I've always hated the Mall.
