Cold and icy in the minds of humankind,
A mystery yet unsolved, unseen,
Lying in peacefulness, Pluto's kingdom...like Hades waiting,
Voids that hold the mysteries to man in between
His delusional egoic visions that distort his sense of balance,
Between his covered eyes, his created valance,
From what he cannot bear to shed light upon,
For his fear molds and controls his stance
To see beyond his own perceived glorious dance with the gods.

This veil of his curses he has created to protect his nakedness,
Denied in vain, slyly wooing his heart callous,

As he tests the tepid waters in judgments that define his world
Without hint of what consequences await,
Yet to be unfurled,
This guise has been planted since the beginning of time,
The balance to be shaken, and dwarf planets, so oblivious to him,
Will collide, and alter man's world voiceless, a mime.

Charon will await him, and as the obolus is removed,
The thoughts of evil he created by scales unbalanced within him
Will either change, or seal his doom,
To return would be chance, a matter of course,
Based upon his dreams undreamed,
And the constriction of his thoughts unesteemed,
Blasphemed, and denied,
A lie to the self for the sake of his own pride,
A course untried, for fear of losing his comforts
To the opening of his eyes, falling in desperation by the wayside.

Only one small 'unknown zone' of the universe
Cold, dark and demoted by man,
Holding untold power in his very hand.
