full of addictions
lost souls with convictions
lost in their dreams
hopeless screams
cycles of exemption
seeking redemption
walking dead
running in circles in their head
it's all the same
but such a shame
the worst of the worst
self destructive and cursed
it's a never ending cycle
used and recycled
filth and scum
waiting for their end to come
this place
just another empty space

Author's Notes/Comments:

being homeless changes life completely. it certainly changed how I perceived things. though in my case it was due to the loss of job and the economy. anyhow I wrote this about the shelter I am staying at though I can say most of them are all the same. full of drug addicts, thieves and sex offenders and god knows what else lol. me well I don't belong there but I can't do anything about it.
