you so understood my pain.

When I came to pour my heart out,

thoughts on love would I explain.

I expressed my current feelings,

'cause I knew you'd understand.

I confessed my needs for healing,

while you came to take my hand.

When I came to pour my heart out,

I found hope within your eyes.

When I came to pour my heart out,

eased, you did, my bleak demise.

I addressed my misspent setting,

'cause I knew you'd show the way.

Now we share as one the blessings,

heart to heart, throughout the day.
