Stuck

Have you ever felt like you were just trapped, like you’re stuck in a computer and it can’t be hacked? To be locked away for all eternity, until you finally lose your sanity. The walls get closer and closer the more you stay, and you wonder if you’ll ever see the light of day. You look for a way out but you know that you’re stuck, like you just ran out of all of that good luck. You look through the bars but no one is there, you look for a door or at least some stairs. The boy inside cannot escape, for destiny has said this is his place. This boy has disowned his own identity, just as you would to preserve your sanity. He asks himself “Who am I, who did this to me?”, but he knows the answers he just doesn’t want to see. The ones that he loves oh so dear, have put him in this world of fear.  They banished him to the void of his own mind, the exit why can’t you ever find? Its somewhere you thought you’d never see, you fall to your knees wishing you were free. Do your emotions ever seem to just take over, like you’re the grass and they’re the mower? You try to give your heart but it all it does is fail, you run away holding your heart so frail. Emotions restrict you they are for the weak; you know to which emotions I speak. The ones like love anger and sorrow, these emotions you wish not to borrow. No way can you ever leave this place, for no one would even recognize your face. But you look around to try to find the door, but realize you are stuck forever more.
