When I first saw you I felt joy
Like a child with a new toy
You are the one I loved to the end
You are my best friend.
When you were here the world was warm
Now its like a cold hail storm
You were loved by all
In and out of the hall.
Nothing could defeat you
Because your love for Jehovah was true
Its all because of that stupid snake
Now the best of imperfections we have to make
Soon this world will be no more
The poor will be rich and the rich will be poor.
In Jehovah’s memory you now lye
We must wait for time to pass by
When I see you, hi I will say
Because the former things have passed away
If I hear music I know you’ll be there
Or rolling in the grass with a tiger or even a bear
Or in the water
And you will say, “Hey, I know him”
Now a hug I will give you
Then the hole in my heart will be made new
Jehovah himself has promised no pain
Just ask the sheep in the lions mane.
So I say we all love you so much
Your sight, your smell, your touch
I don’t know how to say goodbye
To such an amazing guy
To see you made true
When god makes you live the way he intended to.
