Another year that is free from harm
Six years to be exact with God’s loving arms
Intoxicating days, over and done
Mind’s sober, the old me is dead and gone

Aiming firm on things the naked eye can’t see
Praying to get rid of the lust and filth in me
Looking ahead trying not to look back
Moving forward paying no heed to their mock

On foot at times I am weak I fall down
With Christ I become tough, He’s the King I’m the pawn
Working as one to reach on the other side
Securely holds my hand just like a little child

Sorrows, grief, miseries in on my aft and fore

Anxieties, dangers, demons on star side and port
Hitting hard to bring down my faith
I stand still for my God is so great

In the midst of chaos I feel peace
His loving words are music to my ears
Gives delight to my spirit when I’m sad
Enhancing my strength when I feel bad

Whenever I am troubled I sing
Hymns of praises singing just for Him
Makes the inner man ready and armed
Makes my heart beat steady and calm

In the cruelty of this world there’s only one we should fear
Been preach and taught by our humble Seer
“Fear God for this is whole duty of man”
Believe and obey the commandments of His Son

Hearts filled with gratitude, I am so thankful
To our creator that makes my life simply beautiful
For my eyes now can see far and clearly
Indeed! Indeed! To God be the glory!
