“I remember my time here well; from the start of this bloody war, through the torture and rape spent on the gulag. No one would believe me...believe us.” the cold winter air of the siberian wasteland embraced them as he held his frostbitten Makarov toward the face of the dictator.
“You astonish me Dimitri! From what I heard from your brother at least was that you were nothing more than a coward. He was wrong. You’re not a coward; You are an idiot just like him.” his face was frozen with ice as he laughed at me, my finger was already frozen off so blowing his brains out was out of the question.
“Tell me Joseph, what did you think?! That I would let you get your way?! NO! NEVER! To hell with the Orthodox Church, the Catholic Church, and god it’s self! I will kill you for what you’ve done. I’ll tell you why! I’LL TELL YOU STALLIN! Listen to the requirim of the bear.”
September 5th, 1951; Soviet Gulag; Location: Unknown
The sky was clouded that day we arrived. There was nothing in the distance for miles to see; just me, my older brother Reznov, and his wife Zena. We were sentenced for crimes we did not commit. I cannot even remember what it was for now but that doesn't matter anymore. I urged my brother to maintain the faith and hope in god that we may soon be liberated, it was fairly common for those with good conduct to have an early termination of their sentence...those words were in vain. We remained there for only a month and my brother had already reached his limit, with the constant starvation and forced labor he soon began to conspire an escape plan with the other sentenced individuals. I did not join, both for fear and a lunatic hope for god’s mercy. It remained that way until I witnessed a horrible truth, one that my brother would find out because of me. His wife Zena already succumbed to the desire of liberty. I witnessed as her long ago pure body meant only for her husband was given away to the guards patrolling in the night. One by one the constantly came and went into the small cabin where she would prostitute herself to all the guards of the prison. From the mouths of the guards I heard the vulgarities of the actions she had committed prior, to the sheer amount of times each guard passed through her treasure, and the millions of times she would spread her despise and hatred against her husband. That night I showed that to my brother. The next time I saw Zena; she was at the arms of one of the guards.
It was around december my brother and I were given a chance to leave, with only one condition. One of us must partake in an experiment of the brain.
“We accept, and I will be the one to be in the experiment” said my brother. I would have taken the role if I only knew, yet, I was a coward. We arrived only a week ago I thought I would see salvation yet we receive punishment instead. I was to return yet they locked me in a cell with others. There they did with me as they pleased. They did it all from physical torture to rape. Not once did I believe that I would let my brother suffer the same fate me yet it small compared to suffering.
“BANG!” It was the door to cell, it was blown open. My older brother Reznov was there to my aid. “How?! How did you know I’m here?!”
“The doctor told me that my amygdala was enlarged I can sense everyone in this building!” his voice was warm yet fractured like that of an injured pup in the snow. He had become was taller and stronger yet still remained the same. The only other difference was his scar from his eye to his lip. “They did multiple experiments on my brain, from enhancing my occipital lobe to enlarging my cerebellum. They stated that I was the prototype for all future super soldiers and that they would have to experiment further. Upon understanding my fate I decided I would run but I found you.” he stated as we ran towards the exit. It was over a million years since I saw a smile on my brothers face. It was a short lived though. Upon reaching the door there was over thirty soldiers awaiting our arrival. They opened fire immediately. It weren't for reznov I wouldn't be here; his cunning luckily landed us between the cover of the steel door behind and the cover of some destroyed rubble. “Dimitri!” my brother shouted over the hail of bullets. ¨Run! Run for the desert at the count of three!¨ He ordered me as he pulled out what seemed to be a frag grenade; ¨Dimitri! Ready! One...two...THREE!!!¨ I don't know what happened to the soldiers but all I saw at the edge of my eye was the glimmer of a blinding light followed my the screech of a banshee.

¨I did not expect you to run Mr. Kuznetsov!¨
¨Nor did I expect your arrival here… Mr. Stalin¨ my brother responded to the dictator nonchalantly. ¨Run Dimitri! Take cover now!¨ reznov demanded of me. I painfully hid behind a large boulder while he took over the negotiation.
¨I will grant you both freedom and great wealth, I simply need your body for some more test for our super soldiers. After all you did destroy all the files in the archives.¨ The voice of Stalin cut through the wind as if he were right beside one speaking.
¨Donating my body will simply lead to my death and I will take my chances and run in the dead of the night in the iced desert.¨ Reznov´s voice was stern and calm, he was determined to escape.
¨It is a shame you decided that. I was hoping to kill you slowly.¨ Before I knew it, he had blown my brother's head leaving a 9mm hole behind. ¨Tell me Dmitri… how does it feel… how does it?¨ My body reacted on its own. I pinned him to the ground with his gun; the one that killed my brother in my hand. ¨You cannot harm me. You are nothing but a coward! Tell me, can you even remember that I am a dictator?¨
¨I know that that… I know that well.¨ I pressed the gun onto his forehead in anger. “I remember my time here well; from the start of this bloody war, through the torture and rape spent on the gulag. No one would believe me...believe us.” the cold winter air of the siberian wasteland embraced them as he held his frostbitten Makarov toward the face of the dictator.

¨I am afraid you will have to save that speech for later, have fun telling it to the devil.¨ I could not hear it yet the blood trickling from my chest made it evident. Six bullets lodged inside my abdomen; my death is certain. ¨Such a shame, I won't be able to see you wither in your own pool of blood yet I can rest assured you will suffer a long and painful death. So long Ursur.¨ my hands were frostbitten. I am thankful I lost my fingers, the icy winds and freezing temperatures both stopped the bleeding and reduced the pain. If someone reads this journal; I just want them to pass this message to Joseph Stalin ¨I'm coming for you¨
