If wishes never come true
Then what do they do
What is the point in them
If they only destoy and not mend

They're just like a promise to a child
Far fetched and wild
They create a small thought
That can not be bought

So what is a wish deserved
Who can apply it to be served
Is it something that can be
Made into reality

But if wishes never come true
Then what do they do
Why do people make them
If lives and spirits they condemn
