Heart Of A Child

June 30th, 2004

In the essence of a child lies the heart

To grow and love from the start

To play and learn

And always be stern

Playing without care

Willing to do any dare

So ready to live

And everything in the world give

Hungry to learn

Nothing she wants to earn

So quiet and small

More precious than all

In the essence of a child lies the heart

Where she'll learn to grow from the start

Not one day the same

With a small heart to wild to tame

Nicely written, you have capture the essence of a child's youth in their most innocent years.

Rating Two thumbs up.
