Your mendacious eyes have bore into my soul.



I allowed myself to be tricked in your lies



I knew from the start this was no good



I knew you too would walk away.



But this time, I won't be reduced



I won't be ensnared in false hope



I will continue on. I will move on and forget.



I will disregard you from this day forward.



You will not forget this day



This day you made me walk away.

** I fail to see how it's a good idea, to convince me that you're a decent human being, that you understand I'm vulnerable and hurting, and then to turn around and say I'm taking too long to do what you want, so you're leaving... It will come back to you.**

Such is the tenet of the universe that no transgression goes away with exemption from loss.
In the end, the truth ricochets off all of us. However, be aware that the truth does not become the essence of revenge, which can result from mere weariness and produce its own negative consequence in time.
