I see the pain

From you to me

The pain we gave each other.

I see the hurt in your eyes

The half smile you use

To try and seem ok

But until you know

Believe and realize

That the pain from you

Hurt me deeply

But I understand why

And I forgive you too

Forgiveness is the key

That will unlock the pain

When you understand

I forgive you

You can take the key

And forgive yourself

By letting go

Of all the pain
