My stomach flipped
And my heart jumped
When you walked in
I walked right by you

You said ‘hi’ as I walked past
How I got to my seat without falling
I still don’t know
I realized I still wore your ring
But that you didn’t see
After the movie I was walking out
You came by and got my attention
A little wave and a shy smile
Was all the more you did
I smiled and waved back
Before I had to go
If only we had more time
Could the past rekindle itself?
Or do I live in a fantasy world?

The dark intensity gone
