I’ve been through
A LOT since I was two
I have always tried to rush in a hurry
So grandma would never worry
The first time
I swear I was dumb and blind
I have the first cry
Because you felt you had to lie
And then
Once again
Men over us every time
And I always felt like your hidden grime
But now that we’re older
And your lies stand out bolder
I know that you will never understand your own imply
Which is why I stand to have the last cry
Words have great power
Incredible, you have a way of putting the reader right there with you. The twist you imply on 'the last laugh' is bitter sweet, a triumph of the illumination of the shadows of the lie and the sadness at the truth laid bare.
this is not the end, this is not the begining of the end, this is merely the end of the begining.
