white daisies for the wedding
daisies for Nature's bride
pink rosebuds for the dainty ring
carnations sweet and mild
within the posy love is bound
laureled for fragrant hair
veiled memories sadly resound
the songs of that day fair
white daisies for the graveyard
daisies for Love has died
and pruned by sorrow she returned
not bride but Nature's child

Myra,
Something changed, I'm not exactly sure what but your new poems are exceptionally beautiful and this one just grabs at the heart. Ilove it.
Christine.

Sometimes we get a second change.
It is a sad poem - painted with daisies.
