ERADICATING, ERODING, ERASING
eradicate, uprooting your very soul
erode, to diminish.....your light fading
erase, obliterate, no longer do you exist
Jo-anne, How powerful and right these words are. I know people you are talking about. They cause havoc in other peoples' lives. How do you deal with them? I still don't know! I feel the suffocation from them, tho. You are very gifted to bring this feeling with the words you use. Linda
Jo-Anne, Obviously you've run across two of my ex boyfriends. :) The message in this poem is an important one; problem is the control freaks that need to hear it won't listen! I like how you put this one together, made me feel like I was suffocating or drowning at someone else's whim to read the words you wrote here; and I haven't felt that way since I was with my last control freak boyfriend.
