Enveloped in a snow covered world
Today I scan the tiny black tree tips for a lingering leaf
To wonder if it trembles as hard as me.
In a futile forced attempt at self-soothing
I cram my skull with songs I once adored.
Now a heaving reminder of a far away face I need to bury.
The majestic beauty surrounding me only stabs my fingers as I reach for it
Even with just my eyes.
Cold and lonely, like my bed.
Empty as your expression the day you didn't care I left.
A deep and sickening resentment pours into every word I write
When you crash every subject I try to change.
A living ghost across my skin
Even as the bruises fade,
My scars are forever yours.

The guy sounds like a real
The guy sounds like a real dick!
A more than fair
A more than fair assumption...
