Anger running through my veins

Betrayal sparking up shame

Love circulating in my brain

But really who's to blame?

I can feel it taking over again

Your words interfering with the where and when

There's only so long that one can pretend

But I still can't let you in

As hard as I try

The demons still survive

They're breaking in making my heart shrivel up inside

Will this feeling ever reside?

Sick and tired of this game I play

Never letting myself feel your loves heat like sun rays

Instead here I lay

Pushing everyone and everything away
