Untold truths are the most meaningful words.
You try to protect me from hurt but I thrive to hear the worst.
Don't treat me like a child because I know more than you've heard.
So get ready, take aim and try to hit me before I reach the door.
You'll never reach me at the pace I'm at,
But I like to watch you try so I can sit back and laugh.
You think you understand me but how can you understand what I don't even know?
It's all fun and games till someones real emotions start to show.
That's when you learn who's there to stay and who's there for the entertainment of the show.

This is really good. I like it a lot. I write a lot of poetry myself, and I thought this was clever, thoughtful, to the point, and yet very serious in getting your emotion across. I relate extremely well. I too have had plenty of people trying to judge me for what I don't even know myself. Is there a way you could look at some of my writing and give me critiquing?
