I'm blind to all around me
Yet I can truly see
The pain and suffering that exist
In a world of misery
No longer can I hear the shourts
Of happiness and joy
But screams of fear and horror sound
The agony they employ
No longer can I stand in wait
I'm feeling far from home
This tragedy unfolds itself
Watch as the switch is thrown
The scene unfolds before my eyes
I just turn and look away
Why must I go through all this?
Nothing changes from day to day
It's true that one can change the world
A savior to mankind
But what if while you were busy
Someone was left behind?

This is a great poem. I really like the idea of it and i've always loved the frase: Deux Ex Machina. I still believe in one.
i like the poem a lot..but all u can ask of nebody is to try his best..if he was too busy helping some1 else there's not too much room for criticism..there's no answer to ur question--u can only take on ur share of responsibility..if u can't get to every1--help neway..don't stop if u realize u're not making an impact on every life..and who's to say who needs the most help?..that's just my view at least..and a little of mother theresa's...good writing..it's very powerful
