Negative Growth
Are we to pave the future for the planet?
My Generation, more in the pursuit of happiness
Forgoing the search for better understanding
We may admire the sky;
But soon after admiration becomes envious natured;
Can we only think to conquer it
My only responses is toward my Parent Generation which labeled us the laziest of Generations
Yet, Helpfully enabled us
Into this Digital Age of obesity, emotional unavailability, self-righteous actions, and materialistic infatuations...
Sarcastically I applaud you.
As a Poet the Lord gave me words to:
Impede, your Thoughts without you Thinking its Trespassing
Touch, your Heart without Feeling your being Lust after
I could offer you my words as nourishment for your soul ,
But, As of late my Metaphors are unconsciously sick
Even, the smallest whiff can cause your stomach to implode
I been told the future might as well be in-trouble
The fact that I'm in a bundle with a young Mind-Set of a younger Generation
Can only hope the pebble we come across, when we running the future
Doesn't lead to a crippling fall; but a Brief stumble in our Emancipation of Past Generations
