My name is Elias Conetti and I longed to dance in the ballet as a child
My father quoted endless insults of how queer it was for a man to dance like a girl and suggested I be a real man and join the army, I vowed I would still dance
At 16 I joined the Hitler SS and within a year my legs were graced with a tone of any of the finest ballet dancers in Germany
Although my graceful legs that could prance around the stage now marched gracefully in line that systematically destroys,
and my botan that was once used to entertain the masses was now used to bash children in the head to show my superiority to the parents
Through my audience made up of fellow soldiers and my cast are the many unfortunates of this war who I embrace coldly to lead them into their final dance
My father was proud, but yet I still dance
