the men in my life Drove past your car again tonite
And thought of how much I miss you.
Wonder if you ever think of me
If you ever think we could be
Together forever, just you and me.
Sitting and waiting at this extensive light
Just staring at you pumping your gas.
The light turns green and I have to go
But all the feelings I have for you
Still linger through my mind.
Walking into church just isn’t the same
Without you here with me.
I really miss you all the time
When you’re not here with me
And I want you to be with me always.
I asked the Lord just why I miss you
So much throughout the week.
Why is it so apparent?
Is it because of your smile, your hair,
Your eyes, your humor, or your love?
I guess I just miss all of you.
I need to be with you
No matter what everyone else says.
