Today is an Important Day
A man may become indolent by far,
Should he keep on procrastinating،K
What difference will there be,
Between him and the ant in the jar?
He by himself, will be the misfortunate one,
Missing every day, letting it go by, one by one,
،§Tomorrow،¨, he shall say, ،§tomorrow is my day،¨,
،§Today I shall rest, tomorrow I،¦ll do the best،¨, he shall say,
Thereby, his mind will develop a hope of tomorrow in him,
Separating him from the day today and lead him into a perpetuating whim.
On the morrow he shan،¦t do the best, but he shall take another rest,
He shall indulge himself with all he desires,
Thus, he will be sinking into the mires,
The mires of lust, indolence and other worst،K
His mind will begin to rust,
Slowly like the iron nail on the shore,
Licked by the salty waves moment by moment،K
But by and by, the day would come,
When he،¦ll realize that he ought to start doing his work،K
I must tell you of such day, such day would be too late,
Too late for him to work،K
Too late for him to open the gate,
The gate of his success،K
To his dismay, it might have been closed a long time ago, when he was at rest،K
Heed his predicament, we must،K
And we shall overcome indolence, ignorance, indulgence and lust،K
،§Today is the day I shall do my best،¨, we ought to say,
،§For tomorrow, I don،¦t know whether I،¦ll see the lurid sky and the brilliant sun،¦s ray،¨.
If you work like an ant today,
You،¦d be lucky to wake up tomorrow,
But if you are unfortunate not to wake up tomorrow,
Then I must say, happily thou have passed away،K
Should you want to build your abode,
Start building it today, to the end, until today yode،K
Tomorrow will always come,
But today will go by, and shall never again, come!
