Into the rabbit hole
Whoop! There she went...
she jumped straight into the rabbit hole
all the while knowing just what trouble it would get her into
Always something ...
she knows that if she were to just keep quiet
hide out for a little while longer
that old owl would just pass her by
but no, she is a rabbit after all
she's gonna let that owl know
just how frightened she is
"Owl! Owl! you frighten me so!
Please don't eat me, please let me go!"
Owl is too busy hunting other prey
but Rabbit calls out again anyway
"Owl! Owl! You frighten me so!
you won't stay away, this I just know."
Rabbit jumps out of her hole again
yelling her fears as loud as she can
silly, scared little bunny
should be plotting her escape plan
curiously funny these sounds Owl hears
as he silently moves in for his best kill in years
