I think it is a problem on any scale. Unhealthy response to issues that need healthy resolution instead.

The loss of employment required a serious response. Spats kinda wane. Someone does not be kind? Rude. If they are mental - talking and rational problem solving might help find a compromise. If just curmudgeonly stuck - my reply is, "There are seven point six billion other people on the globe.
