Her mind's dis-ease

She was taken before the high court.

Her crime was that of expression.

In this strange world, this natural state of being,

was considered to be a truly offensive crime.

Even her thoughts were monitored.

How could she stop? She was born with it.

She had an imagination that liked to roam free.

She couldn't keep it contained.

It was a dis-ease.

The judge looked at her and asked her plea.

She said, "I plead the fifth."

The judge said,

"That is not an acceptable plea in this court.

Answer again and we might set you free."

She looked at the judge with head hung low.

"Guilty your honor, guilty is me.

I cannot stop this imagining."

The judge ruled in her favor with one caveat.

If she was caught expressing any of her thoughts,

she'd be locked in prison with no leniency.

And the night watchers would throw away the key.

So she left the court with a roaming mind.

She couldn't express or she'd have to do time.

How could she live without her expression?

She did not want for another confession.

So she went off and hid in the woods.

Looking for creatures who she understood.

If she could speak without using her mouth.

She could express all the feelings she felt.

This was a pleasant read.

This was a pleasant read. However, being a woman (especially one who appears to love cats) I feel most of what you say is expressed through your eyes. Having studied Iridology for a semester, I was amazed at what information the eyes carry. NOTHING ever witnessed by your eyes is ever forgotten, and remains imprinted on the mind, and within the body. The charts below are only a very small example of what your eyes can reveal. As you are probably well aware, a woman need not speak to a man to say he did something wrong, she only needs to look at him. Those looks can soothe and heal a man, or claw him into pieces.

Haha

I dont know why that made me laugh. Thanks. I needed that. It's so true what the eyes can do.

We have cat dogs. All of them eat dog food and love bellyrubs. The image is our deceased cat Buskitten who we lost last november to a hit and run. We miss her dearly.

Thanks for the chuckle ol' poetic friend.
