sometimes things arent what they seem,
even if its better than your wildest dreams.
I thought that things would last forever,
people said we'd break up, i told them never.
i wished that we could've made it last,
and now unfortunately its in the past.
when things were good with us it was great,
and now i feel like its full of hate.
why cant we go back to how we used to be,
what will it take for you to see?
You act like i treated you oh so bad,
and for you to say that makes me sad.
relationships consist of just us two,
not me and you plus another few.
why cant we go back to the good days
and bring back all our loving ways?
yeah i know i've made mistakes before,
but we both have so that evens the score.
